Dies ist mit dem iPhone 3GS nicht mehr möglich, da sich hier Voice Control öffnet. Also wie beendet man hier die Apps komplett?

To force quit an application in 3.0, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the slide to power off screen appears, then press and hold the home button until the application quits (about six seconds).

 

Um eine Anwendung zu beenden, drückt und halten die Schlaf/Aufwach-Taste bis der Power-Off Slider erscheint, dann müsst ihr den Home-Button drücken und halten bis die Applikation beendet (6 Sekunden).

Erstmal erschlagen vom Menü und was alles zu tun ist, habe ich mich aber durchgewurschtelt und mein Zertifikat für mein Applikation erstellt. Videos und HowTo’s im Dev-Bereich sei Dank.

Direkt mal die neue Firmware fürs iPhone und das neue SDK geladen.

Dann erstmal die Ernüchterung. Code muss an die 3.0 ein wenig angepasst werden, soweit so gut, damit habe ich gerechnet und soviel war es nicht. Code aufgeräumt im 3.0 Simulator getestet und es geht

Direkt mal auf dem Gerät testen. Leider endete dies in einer Fehlermeldung “a signed resource has been changed, modified or deleted”. ???

Ersteinmal überfragt, weil auch google nichts direkt ausgeben konnte, liegt es wohl am Bundle Identifier. Ok geändert, half leider nichts. Lange Geschichte, lang gesucht, kurzes Ergebnis. Mein Projektname enthielt Klammern () und Leerzeichen. Leerzeichen funktionieren, aber mit Klammern kommt das SDK oder iPhone nicht zurecht. Also ging es an die Änderung des Projektnamens, hier ein paar Links, die dabei helfen:

Langsam entwickelt sich auch diese App und eine Veröffentlichung kann auch nicht mehr solange dauern. Hier und da fehlt aber noch die ein oder andere Methode. Freunde müssen die App dann auch noch testen

Es gibt natürlich noch nichts vorzeigbares, ausser ein paar nachgebauten Beispielen, aber man ist schon dabei, das Gelernte umzusetzen.

Meine verwendet Lektüre seht ihr oben: Beginning iPhone Development (Exploring the iPhone SDK) von Dave Mark und Jeff LaMarche.

Das Buch ist ohne Einschränkung an die Leute zu empfehlen, die gerade erste einsteigen wollen und auch teils neu mit Objective-C sind. Eine gewisse Erfahrung in der Programmierung und am besten in C bzw. C++ sind aber schon von Nöten. Wer weiss was die Entwicklung bringt, vielleicht sehen wir uns demnächst im Appstore

Woran es also genau lag, weiss man noch nicht. Heute morgen hatte mein iPhone leider immer noch kein Netz?! Sollte doch eigentlich behoben sein. Naja nach einem kurzen reboot ging es dann aber wieder

Um auch unterwegs auf den neustem Stand zu bleiben, benötigt man RSS-Reader. Selbst getestet, habe ich bisher 4 Stück. Der folgende Vergleich ist rein subjektiv und es wurde der Stand getestet, der damals aktuell war. Leider kann ich nicht mehr ganz nachvollziehen, welche App zu welcher Zeit lief. Von daher kann sich da schon wieder einiges geändert haben.

Rss-Reader

leider für mich weniger brauchbar gewesen, da es wirklich nur die RSS Infos preis gab. Man konnte nicht direkt im Programm die Seite ansteuern, sondern es wurde der Safari geöffnet. Das ist natürlich nicht optimal, wenn man weitere Feeds lesen möchte, musste man die App neustarten.

Byline

synct mit dem GoogleReader. Wenn man dort alle seine abonnierten Feeds besitzt, ist der Reader sehr gut. Seiten werden direkt in der App angezeigt.

Manifesto

Hier können der GoogleReader und andere RSS-Feeds hinzugefügt werden. Auch aus einer OPML Datei kann importiert werden. Leider löschte die App alte Feeds nicht, obwohl man es unter Einstellungen einstellen konnte. Außerdem war die Sortierung sehr unübersichtlich. Neuste Einträge standen unten. Leider ist es auch mal hin und wieder abgeschmiert.

Newsstand

Bisher bin ich mit dieser App am zufriedensten. Import geht wie bei Manifesto per OPML, Google Reader oder einer Website. Läuft schon stabil und zeigt mir die Feeds in mir bekannter schönen Weise an.
